Myofascial Release
Myofascial tissue is continuous and omnipresent in the body. It interweaves and wraps muscles, and every division of tissue within the muscle, all muscles bundles, muscle fascicles, and even every muscle fiber. Over time, for reasons of physical and emotional trauma, habit patterns, disease, and the desiccation of tissue that can accompany the aging process, fascial tissue can get hard, rigid, short, gluey, and inelastic. In short, fascial tissue will change from a lubricant to an adhesive. This binding up of fascial tissue causes a great deal of what the patient experiences as stress, tension, and pain, and loss of ease and range of motion.
Myofascial Release is stretching of the fascia. A light stretch is applied to the tight area, wait for the tissue to relax, and then increase the stretch. The process is repeated until the area is fully relaxed. The therapist will be able to find sore spots just by feel. Often, patients are unable to pinpoint some sore spots or have grown used to them, until the therapist finds them. The size and sensitivity of these sore spots, called Myofascial Trigger Points, will decrease with treatment. Most patients are surprised by how gentle Myofascial Release is. Some patients fall asleep during treatment, while others go home and take a nap afterwards. Most patients find Myofascial Release to be a very relaxing form of treatment.
Myofascial Release is not massage. Myofascial Release is used to equalize muscle tension throughout the body. Unequal muscle tension can compress nerves and muscles; causing pain. Progress is measured by a decrease in the patient's pain, and by an improvement in overall posture.

Massage Cupping
Massage Cupping is an adaption of ancient technique and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Glass or plastic cups along with vacuum pump create a negative pressure on the skin's surface. Cups are then moved using various techniques while gently pulling up. Bony land marks such as spine and scapula which are often avoided (due to compression because typical massage would cause pain), can be worked on this way.
The cups can also be parked or left on a particular area for short duration to facilitate joint mobilization or soft tissue release. Suction reaches deep into soft tissue, attachments and organs. Toxins, inflammation, blood, and lymph are then pulled to the skin's surface. Health and healing are promoted by loosening soft and connective tissue, therefore visible improvements are seen in scars and adhesions. The outcome is increased circulation and lymph flow, and the sensation is truly indescribable.
There is a marked difference between traditional Chinese Cupping Therapy and Massage Cupping bodywork. The marks that are commonly left from Massage Cupping treatments are the desired result. Massage Cupping therapy very rarely produces this discoloration, called a "cup kiss" or "doo-hickey." If this appears during the treatment, it's just an added bonus indicating the release of intense stagnation (body fluids and toxins) in the area. It is also unlikely that it will re-occur in the same area.

Facial Cupping
This painless facial utilizes glass suction tubes specially designed for your face, they have soft, rounded edges, and will not leave any marks on your face at all. The tissues of the face, neck, and upper chest are "vaccuumed", which relaxes, lifts, and tones the muscles. This suction also moves toxins and stagnant blood out, allowing new nutrient-enriched blood and fluids in to detoxify your face; which results in a clearer, more even complexion. The light suction causes a negative pressure. This “negative pressure” is a novel experience for the body; one that it may never have experienced. Your body is more familiar with pressure, pushing, prodding, and compression, rather than feeling spaciousness and flow. As with any facial massage, or treatment, the skin may be red for a few minutes after the treatment, but it quickly returns to its original color, making the treatment accessible for lunch hour and for the person on the go.
This relaxing facial treatment increases circulation and nutrients to the skin, increases lymphatic flow, and reduces inflammation. By increasing blood flow and circulation to the skin, your skin will regain its youthful appearance. Results are seen and felt immediately. It can literally give you a face lift by improving the blood circulation to your facial muscles. The major benefits of this treatment are: Reduced puffiness, lifted muscles, reduced dark circles, minimized under-eye bags, firmer jowls, minimized wrinkles, tightened pores, plumped lips, diminished facial scars, reduced acne and rosacea, reduced sinus and allergies, relieved headaches and ear aches, decreased TMJ pain and swelling, and provides relief for facial paralysis, stroke, or Parkinson's.
Recommendations for Treatment: Although your skin will look improved with just one session, a series is required for optimal results. For maximum beneficial results, the following schedule of treatments is recommended:
• First 3 weeks: a treatment twice a week (each session 60 minutes)
• Following 6 weeks: a treatment once a week (each 60 minutes)

Neuromuscular Therapy
Neuromuscular Therapy is the utilization of static pressure on specific myofascial points to relieve pain. This technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body (muscles, tendons and connective tissue) to balance the Central Nervous System. In a healthy individual, nerves transmit impulses (which are responsible for every movement, function, and thought) to the body very slowly. Injury, trauma, postural distortion or stress cause nerves to speed up their transmission, inhibiting equilibrium, and making the body vulnerable to pain and dysfunction. It is therefore necessary to stabilize low levels of neurological activity to maintain normal function and overall health.
Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is a natural therapy in which warmed stones are positioned on parts of the client's body to maximize the therapeutic benefit. The stones used are typically river rocks, or other very smooth-surfaced stones made of basalt. These stones are heated in sanitizing water before use. The high iron content in basalt helps the stones retain heat during the massage. Hot stone massages are beneficial on both physical and psychological levels. Always check with your doctor before getting a hot stone massage; individuals with certain conditions--including pregnant women and people with high blood pressure--are advised to avoid this type of therapy.
LED (Light Emitting Diode) Light Therapy
LED Light Therapy can help improve wrinkles, acne, rosacea, age spots and sun damage. Since NASA first developed this technology, many other applications have been discovered; most important among them is the use of LED light therapy for various forms of healing. After a series of the non-invasive and painless LED Light Therapy treatments, problem skin areas will show a marked improvement: wrinkles and folds will soften and have improved tone, improved moisture levels in the skin, and a healthy glow.
The Light Therapy Rejuvenation Device uses LED technology that generates photons at different frequencies (colors of light), to penetrate into deeper layers of tissue- the way lasers would, but with less damage. Different wavelengths (colors) of light will have different effects on the skin. Interacting with the skin at a cellular level, LED Light Therapy can stimulate the power generators of the cells in your body (Mitochondria), which produces Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). ATP is the energy currency that powers cellular activity. This then leads to the stimulation of the Fibroblast cells’ ability to produce collagen and elastin. The additional collagen plumps up the skin, filling in fine lines. The elastin helps by adding support, firming up skin that has started to show signs of sagging. Overall, LED Light Therapy produces healthier, faster healing, younger looking, and beautiful glowing skin.
